小颖是成都24岁的在校研究生，人群中，她总是习惯性地避开他人的眼神，她最怕谁盯着她的眼睛看，哪怕无意地一瞥都会让她感到极其不自在。她会很快将头扭向一侧，不让旁人看到她左右不对称、形态有些怪异的双眼皮。她说，割双眼皮手术前，她就担心过会不会有疤痕——没想到，现在的情况比她原来预想的严重多了，“就像一条扭曲的蚯蚓趴在眼皮上”。
　　手术 不尽如人意
　　术后的双眼皮，“最明显的就是不对称”，医生解释有恢复期。最终，医院为她做了免费修复手术，可效果依然不尽如人意，“问题反而变得更严重了，两边眼睑仍旧严重不对称，疤痕明显，闭眼还出现鱼鳞状褶皱，疤痕凹凸不平……”
　　维权 遭遇尴尬
　　小颖向医院提出退还手术费，并承担她到其他医院做修复手术的费用，但未能与医院达成一致。期间，小颖还到成都医学会做了鉴定，结果为不构成医疗事故。“申请伤残鉴定又不符合相应的标准，这又让我通过司法程序解决变得困难。”小颖说。
　　想做双眼皮女生 医院的话让她心动
　　想做个双眼皮的想法，在小颖心里已存在很久了，这个想法在上大学时最为强烈。“女孩子，人人都爱美，就老觉得自己的单眼皮不好看。”小颖说。
　　她会特别留意身边的双眼皮女生，会去看很多的广告，上网搜索关于做双眼皮手术的资料和医院。但因为上学加上没有足够的手术费，大学时的手术计划并未实现。
　　不过，她开始通过做兼职存钱，还会从每月的生活费中留出一笔，为自己的手术费用做准备。
　　2014年9月24日，已进入研究生阶段学习的小颖在陪朋友到成都天使之翼整形美容医院做双眼皮手术时，向医生咨询了手术的相关事宜。不过并未当场做出决定，“一直很犹豫，担心会不会有疤痕？会不会做不好？”
　　医院的一番话让她慢慢打消疑虑。“当时咨询师一直跟我强调他们医院多么好，给我做手术的医生也非常有经验，这种小手术不会有任何问题，做出来的双眼皮形态自然，根本看不到一点疤痕。”小颖说。
　　小颖说，当时接待她们的工作人员表示，如果跟朋友两个人一起做还可以为她们打折。她这才心动了。
　　做完手术左右不对称
　　修复后“更严重”
　　一周后，朋友到医院拆线。小颖再次向医院咨询了她担心的几个手术问题，并在当天上了手术台，手术费用5500元。
　　小颖在期待中等待了一周。然而，拆线后呈现在眼前的双眼皮却让她觉得有些不对劲，“表面形态不是很正常，弧形也不是很完整。”医生向她解释，因刚刚做完，需要一定的恢复期，时间在半年左右。
　　“但慢慢发现始终不对，最明显的就是不对称。”小颖说，半年后，她找到医院希望院方给她一个解释。最终，医院为她做了免费修复手术。接着又是半年的恢复期，可效果依然不尽如人意，“问题反而变得更严重了，两边眼睑仍旧严重不对称，疤痕明显，闭眼还出现鱼鳞状褶皱，疤痕凹凸不平……”
　　对此，医院提出可继续为其做免费修复手术。由于对医院失去信任，小颖拒绝了医院给出的解决办法，并开始到其他医院求医，然而得到的回答均是修复难度太大，就算修复了也不会有很大改善。
　　小颖希望院方承担责任，提出退还手术费，并承担她到其他医院做修复手术的费用，但至今没能与医院达成一致。期间，小颖还曾到成都医学会做了医疗事故鉴定，希望证明院方存在的手术问题。但鉴定结果为不构成医疗事故。
